You will constantly be floated to 8-10 different units. ICU 1:3-Q2hr charting, PCU 1:4- Q4hr charting, Med Surg 1:5-Q4/8hr charting, travelers are always the ones who float first, to get all admissions/transfers, post mortem care. You will hardly have time to take a lunch. Favoritism is strong towards core staff. The doctors place 99% of their orders and they’re all really great. The staff is mostly very nice. They just work you to death. Most travelers do not renew their contracts.
