Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus

This hospital has two Acute care units (5th and 3rd floor). The 3rd floor has slightly higher acuity patients and they take oncology patients. This is a community hospital so acuity is not crazy high, and you don’t see much chronic kids (they go to Main Campus in Downtown) Staff is not always helpful but they’re nice. Doctors are friendly, and pretty easy to reach using the Voalte or Epic chat. Surgical PAs are difficult to reach at night. The unit uses Epic, Voaltes and Rovers.
