OR nurses don't see their patients before they roll into the OR. I found this to be dangerous at times, depending on how much the anesthesiologist cared. They're were times the patient had no consent, no wristband, wasn't marked, etc. Sometimes the OR wasn't ready, pans weren't checked, or implants weren't verified yet. The manager was just alright. The schedule was set for travelers. Orientation week was 5x8s no matter the shift you were hired for. They had a ton of high quality ancillary staff. The staff were great with travelers.
