This is a great traveler friendly ER. There is lots of support from staff even when techs are short staffed. It is a Level 1 teaching facility so there are a multitude of people learning and teaching and you'll see a lot. I think everyone is for the most part friendly and approachable. I've only been voluntary sent home. When I work at East Madison Hospital, it's possible to be involuntarily sent home. You won't float within the hospital, just to the other ER on the East side of Madison.

Beautiful new hospital (parts). They must not know it but they are incredibly well staffed. Step-down patients 1:2. I worked on the Burn unit which was one of the best experiences of my life. Techs are fabulous. Best version of Epic I've used.
